Packet pick up will be held at WPBFD Station 1 September 10th, 12th and 13th from 10am - 5pm

Participants in ALL events will be able to come get their swag bags

The Workout will be Teams of 2 Same sex pairs

The workout is as follows:

BUY IN: 400m drag sled with sand bag on top of sled

-into-
3 rounds
30 cal assault bike
25 SYNCHRO Single DB Thrusters
20 Burpee Sandbag Over Box

BUT OUT: 400m run/walk carrying your sand bag

RX Male Teams (150lb sand bag/50lb DB)
Scaled male Teams (100lb sand bag/35lb DB)

RX Female Teams (100lb sand bag/35lb DB)
Scaled Female Teams ( 70lb sand bag/20lbs DB)

On the morning of Sunday September 8th, 2024, West Palm Beach Fire Department (WPBFD) will host the 6th Annual WPB 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb to honor and remember all the precious lives lost in the brutal attacks of September 11, 2001.

This event is open to all!

The event features a stair climb of 110 stories, a CrossFit Competition, vendors, a heartening opening ceremony, and a vibrant after-party.

New for this year will be the addition of:

🏃 5K
👟 1 MILE race
🧑‍🚒 HERO CHALLENGE

The HERO CHALLENGE combines the 5K and stair climb events into the ultimate test of strength, endurance, and will!

Participants will start by completing the 5K course followed by the full 110 story stair climb.

The address of the event is 515 N. Flagler Drive (Fifth Third Bank aka The Darth Vader building) in downtown West Palm Beach.

Opening ceremonies will begin at 8am, races and competitions will begin at 9am.

The WPB 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb and 5K provides participants a unique way to honor and remember all of the precious lives lost in the brutal attacks of September 11th, 2001.

The 5K and 1 mile race will take participants on an out-and-back course down N. Flagler Dr. along the iconic West Palm Beach waterfront.

FIREFIGHTERS are challenged to enter and run the 5K in BUNKER GEAR!

One half of all proceeds from the event will be donated to @operation300 Operation 300 is an organization that was founded in honor of Special Operations Chief (SEAL) Aaron Carson Vaughn who was KIA on August 6th, 2011 🐸 🔱

The other half of the proceeds will be donated to the @post_fl Pediatric Oncology Support Team, Inc. (POST), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. POST is a psychosocial support team that provides free services to children with cancer as well as their families ❤️
